I dropped my car off at Mr. Tire in Woodbury Heights, NJ to have 4 new tires put on. I was quoted a price of $425.97 not including taxes and fees. They called to let me know that I had tie rods that needed to be replaced and was told two outer and one inner were bad. Since the tie rods needed to be replaced I would also need the steering aligned. The tech said he didn't have the prices in front of him but he would call me back with the estimate. Not only did anyone fail to call me back, he failed to mention that they use premium replacement parts that cost twice as much as OEM parts. I ended up getting charged almost $670 MORE and was never given the opportunity to deny service based on the price. I only discovered the price when they called me to inform me that the car was ready. The manager didn't seem to care that i was deceived and offered no compensation for their error.

Avoid Mr. Tire at all costs. I would have spent less taking my car to the dealership.
