BOB & ROD OF MR TRANSMISSION IS A RIPOFF-DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR!!!
Their paper work has a (N) for "new"-But has remanufacture next to motor
Told me they use a Jasper Engine. NOPE! O'Reillys
300,00 miles or 3-year warranty NOPE! 1-yr warranty
NEW (?) motor was put in FEB-2006 but by May it had left me standed on the highway 3-times. Then on the 4th they agreeded there was a problem.
In June, there was a new (?) motor put in again. This is a $6,180 motor.
The New (?) motor (2nd motor) now has approx 500-miles on it and it breaks down.
Mr Transmission said, "we drove the engine hot and warped the heads, therefore they will not warranty the new motor" I paid a company over $2,000 to pull the head. They sent it to a head shop. The head shop and the
shop that replaced the heads send me a letter. The letter says:
Heads were not warped! The engine block was newer than the heads! The heads were cracked and welded together! The combustion chamber were cracked and welded! There was no gaskets where they should have been, silicone was found! The valve guides were excessivley worn! This is one of the worse jobs, they had seen.
I still have several months before my 1-year warranty is up and I have 1,200 miles on my (2-motor) "Is there something wrong with this picture"
The manager just keeps trying to cover is #%* and the owner wants to hide! the manage said, doubt if the Rod -the owner, ever talks to you!
They tried to do patch work instead of putting a new motor in. This is not the 1st time we have done work with them, and it's not the 1st time they have lied, BUT....It's the 1st time we could prove how they cover up and lie.
