FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. I ordered 1 video from this company and they never even asked me if I wanted to join their monthly preview program. I started noticing a charge on my statement every month for $25 but never received anything, but the 1 video that I did order.

I tried calling the number on my credit card statement but couldn't get through so I finally called my credit card company and told them to reverse the charges because I had not authorized them. My credit card company did reverse the charges then I got a letter from MRA Video stating I was in a monthly preview program and that if I wanted to cancel I should call them.

I called them and told them to cancel the membership that I had never agreed to and that I never received any videos from them but 1. The man on the phone told me that they shipped me 4 videos and that's why they had been charging my card. I told him that if he were to trace those shipments he would see that I never received any of them. Conveniently, he said that the way they ship packages, they are not able to trace them.

Anyway, after a big hastle, my credit card company graciously reversed the charges and at the same time I cancelled that card so that if they tried to charge it again they wouldn't be able to.

This company definately needs to be reported to the BBB, they are definately scamming people and I think are doing business illegally!! Good Luck to anybody who tries to order just 1 video from them!!
