middle of april 2013 I purchase a motorcycle trunk from ebay.com seller "Mutazu". i paid about $500 + $60 for shipping. the trunk was for my husband birthday for him to put onto his 2004 road glide. we received the trunk. initially, the trunk looked and felt very flimsy. we emailed the seller and received a response saying "don't worry, the trunk is very durable".

so we decided to give it a try. our first road trip (2 months later) to florida, i was leaning against the tour pack backpad and the pad detached itself from the trunk. there were rubber grommets that have bolts in them and the grommets had split, causing the backpad to detach. my husband pulled over and once we stopped, we also noticed that one of the latches that keeps the trunk closed was missing (had fallen off somewhere). luckily we had a bungee cord so we were able to keep it closed. my husband was able to temperarily make the backrest stay in place until we got home.

when we got h ome i called mutazu, asking to return the product. because we had he trunk for over 45 days, they would not accept a return. i talked to a lady (dont remember her name). they did agree to send a new latch and backrest, which we were forced to accept.

we installed the new latch and backrest, and low and behold, the backrest is once again broken, and the trunk has developedd a big crack where we mounted the rack that came with the trunk. the company has not responded to our emails since.

overall, i am extremely upset with this company and the products they sell. the plastic is EXTREMELY thin. for $500+ i was expecting a decent quality product. BUYER BEWARE
