MUTUALTRUST FINANCIAL, INC. They sent me a check for $2996.70 for me to deposit in my account ASAP. Ripoff Boston Massachusetts

The check looked real enough, so I deposited it in my account today. My internet was down for a few days, so I couldn't look up anything about the company this way. Daniel spoke very pleasant to me over the phone. I called the number of the bank on the check too. So the bank's name & nbr appear to be real enough. I waited & called Daniel again to ask questions. That's when he explained to me that I should deposit the check right away, and all would be well. I was still unsure, but did what he asked thinking that I have called several nbrs and they appear to be ok. My internet came back up a few mins ago. I see a letter from someone who has been ripped off by this company, so I decided to write this letter to warn others. I will have to contact my bank right away to make sure that they do not clear this check. I can't believe I was so stupid, but I really need money right now & a vacation, so I believed this was real.
