MWI Connections received our billing information from Lillian Vernon and began charging us. ripoff Stamford Connecticut

Just found a charge for $8.50 from MWI*Connections on my bank statement. Looked at old statements and found it has been there every month since December 2002. Called and asked what it was and "Misty" said something about coupons & discounts, etc. I politely asked her to cancel the account and then called my wife to find out if she knew anything about it.

Turns out she ordered a product from Lillian Vernon catalog in November. She was offered membership to "MWI Connections" and politely declined. I believe that somehow, MWI received our billing information from Lillian Vernon and began charging us. The crooks at MWI have stolen $42.50 from my bank account.

Based on the other complaints on this website, it looks like I got off lucky! Will be contacting MWI again to demand a full credit.
