I signed up in Dec for Credit Keeper. I noticed that my credit card through which I obtained services wtih Credit Keeper was showing double-charges for the next 4 statesments! I called Credit Keeper and after being on HOLD for a good 45 minutes, then getting rude, non-caring customer service rep, I was told they would fix the issue. They had me as having 2 accounts. I asked them what person in their right mind would sign up to have 2 accounts with credit keeper when 1 was sufficient, because they accused me of opening 2 accounts. I told them to close the 2nd account that I did NOT open, and to refund me the 4 months worth of charges of 9.95 each.

Two months go by and still my C.C. statements showing Credit Keeper charges are still getting charged monthly, but no refunds for the over-charges. So again I call, wait on HOLD for 45 minutes again!!!! And when I tell the rep how long I was on hold she couldn't care less. It's like, yea, so? what do you need? Anyway, I explained the whole situation again of how I was being double-charged every month for 2 accts when I only opened one; I wanted some action.

Straight up people..........this company is crooked and rude. They pretend you opened extra accounts when you know you didn't. Then they sometimes say they don't even find your name in their system. Then they say they will get the charges taken care of but you don't see it on your ongoing statements with the credit card who is charged for the credit keeper. Man these people are nuts. I know there are other Credit Monitoring companies who are good, and don't rip people off, but My Credit Keeper is not one of them. This is the worst. Also........their online website is very confusing and not user-friendly. I've seen much better. Be wary of signing up with these people. You will have nothing but problems and phone calls, and the irritation of being on hold for a long, long time. And lucky if you get positive action.

......in Dallas, very disgusted with Credit Keeper

Not a rip off, very trustworthy.. In my opinion

I have used Mycreditkeeper.com for the last year, for myself and my husband. They are very honest and actually a great deal. I have searched high and low for the services they provide, and you can get it elsewhere but not for the same great low price they offer. I know lso first hand that they will not charge the same card 2 times in one month, I had signed my husband & I up on one credit card and they would not process one of the accounts until it had a different payment method. They said they could not bill the same card twice within a month.

I have also found that the wait times when I have had to call in are not long, not at all. The customer service reps are always helpful and they seem to all know the product they offer and they speak english!!!

I am more than pleased with the service I get from this company and I highly reccommend this service to anyone and everyone!!!

I have used MyCreditKeeper.com for years, and have found it to be a great service for a great price. I've searched the internet for similar solutions and had no luck finding a better service for $10.

I've actually had four separate accounts with this company. I initial signed up with one for myself, and then signed up my girlfriend as well. We were monitoring our reports and scores to buy a new car, and this site allowed us to get updated reports and scores on-demand once a month.

The only experience I had that wasn't stellar was when I needed to change my billing account. I did have to hold for 45 minutes, but the representative was a very pleasant older woman afterward. She informed me that I would have to cancel my current accounts, and open new accounts with the new billing information. Simple enough.

I had no problems creating the account on their Web site; in fact, I never had to contact them other than changing my billing information. Once I found out that I just had to cancel the existing account and create a new one things went smoothly.

The second time I had to change my billing information I simply sent them an email and the account was cancelled within a few days. The fees for the current month's service was also credited back to my billing account at that time.

The original commenter must have had a bad experience, and was not satisfied with their customer service experience. This does NOT consistute them as a Ripoff of any kind, as my story concludes.
