A once in a lifetime 7200 mile driving trip across North America brought me to mytripjournal.com. I paid $29.95 for two months of service to allow me to download photos,add jornal entries and provide maps online to my friends and family.
What I got was nothing. I paid them. Got confirmation. Started my website just fine and dandy. Just like theysaid. The next time I logged in, I could not "click" on anything. I tried everything I knew to get it to work and couldn't. I tried a number of times without success. I finally got in touch with a lady that had helped me set up the website. Maureen said "too bad". That was it. I never could get back in touch with her or anyone in the company. The site still does not work and I still can't get in touch with anyone from the company. Ripped-off!

MyTripJournal offers excellent service and value for its customers

My wife and I started using mytripjournal.com in 2004 when we went on a five week trip to Australia. Initially we used the free website services which allow for limited access and postings. We found the services and support to be excellent all our friends and family followed our trip online and were able to post comments and respond to our trip postings throughout.
On our return home we decided to keep the website active and paid for a premium subscription. This allowed us to download the full journal and pictures in html format. We also order a CD of all the postings and pictures. This was great value and alloed us to preserve all the friends and family postings.
We have contiued to use this excellent website for all our travel postings. The service provides us the ability to create multiple trip journals, gives us the option of password protected journals and also gives us an "opt-in" email service for friends to get notices of our updates.
It is unfortunate that this consumer had a negitive experience with the site, my experience with the site is that mytripjournal.com provides excellent value and service.
