If you want to constantly wonder when your things might reach your home, then this is the company for you! We chose National Express partially because they were cheaper than the other quotes I got, and partially because they told me at the time of booking that we were one of several jobs from Ohio going to Texas and they could put us into that larger shipment and "it shouldn't take more than 5-7 days to get your stuff." When that week had passed, we began calling the number on the contract copies, which was incorrect. I hunted down a new number online and got salespeople who referred me to Adam, the operations guy. Adam wasn't a big fan of answering his phone, but when he did, he was horribly unhelpful and would never give us a straight answer on when our stuff would be arriving and why we were told misleading information. His only reply was that they had 30 days by law to deliver our things. That's it? That's all I get.... the "least you can do"? Not acceptable customer service. they also referred us to Jay, the operations manager whom we later learned was a sales manager and not the least bit more helpful. He never returned a call we placed either.

By the time our things did arrive -- six weeks to the day from when they were picked up -- we had been given five different delivery days that were all incorrect. Began to wonder where our stuff was, not that anyone would share that information. The only bright spot in all this was comiserating with the sales lady over the phone who agreed that things were a train wreck at National Express. Save yourselves the trouble and rent a Uhaul or something... even if I had driven 20 miles an hour I could have gotten my stuff there quicker!
