I have worked with National Home Trainers since April of 2007. At first, I was paid in a timely fashion, but as time progressed, they became less reliable. I did my job to train the clients they sent me, but at this time they owe me over $700. They have bounced 2 checks to me.
Now if you are considering hiring a trainer from this company, DO NOT DO IT! Once you start paying, you are obligated to finish paying on your contract whether the trainer gets paid or not. My client has checked her attorney and because I have been providing service, she has no complaint with NHT.
The most unfair thing is that I am a good trainer who has helped this client lose over 30 pounds, and I have not been paid for that service.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, WORK FOR OR HIRE A TRAINER FROM THIS COMPANY!
The staff is rude and uncooperative- a person with the 1st initial "C" even used the "F" word in a heated conversation as well as various other profanities.
Another person, who claimed to be the company president ( I have my doubts), assured me I would get my money.
Be warned, you will be burned if you do not heed.

Thanks for the correction, the BBB listing said that the listing record was from 11/07, but it could be incorrect information. I did some checking into other reports and did see the Monster listing for hiring inside sales people in Orange county, ca. The company indicated that they never received my letter I sent to the address they list on the pay stubs.
FYI, I did not have any issues with this until about early September when they bounced a size able check.
I am very glad that you have had a good experience and have been paid. I feel bad that the client is also going to be left in the lurch because if I don't train her, she loses money too, and that is double unfair. We both only want what we signed on to get.
Good luck, beware. I once felt comfortable and impervious to trouble, now I am out about $750+.

You are wrong, fitgirl. They are not in Cali anymore. That office was let go. They were supposed to move the heqadquarters out to that location, but they did not. You need to send your info to the Dallas or the Houston location to get their attention. If you send anyhting to any of the 3 addresses in Ca or Phoenix (old offices) it will all come back to you as undeliverable.
I think I saw the Dallas address on here.
