NEP continues to charge renters higher rates than are charged to homeowners. Each renter is charged excess fees (which vary from month to month) for community electric and water in addition to the customary and expected electric and water charges.
I have noted complaints about this discrimination for a long time, still nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Either charge all customers for community electric and water services or do not charge any customers for community electric and water services.
They are exhibiting discriminatory practices that need to end.

Nationwide Energy Partners (“NEP”) values and appreciates resident feedback regarding bill amounts and average monthly usage. Per the contract between NEP and the property owners we partner with, NEP is required to maintain the same rates as the host utility provider for both electricity and water. In other words, you will never be charged more for usage than a rate equal to or lower than your local host utility.
However, we take resident concerns very seriously and strive to be an open, transparent company. NEP has a resident support team that is ready and available to provide assistance regarding monthly billing statements, usage information, payment plan details or general inquiries by calling 1-877-818-2NEP.
