11/24/2004 in the afternoon of the day before Thanksgiving, a Simona Brinkman of Nationwide contacts customer and says that the transaction now must be paid in cash. Customer refers to correspondence with Kafi Smith and is told Miss Smith is indisposed. Customer is now in Virginia and cannot get the cash to NY over the holiday.

11/26/2004 Nationwide refuses to move the furniture from NY to VA unless they are paid in cash.

A complaint is again filed by telephone with Ms. Brinkman who agrees with the movers and refuses to adhere to original agreement of paying by personal check. She also charges $4.25 per cubic foot instead of the agreed upon $3.

11/26/04 Friend overseeing the move in NY for the customer, who is in Virginia, writes a check in the amount of $3250 and is bullied into giving a $60 tip to the Nationwide mover. An additional $150 is charged for the stairs. Nationwide says they will deliver the furniture to Virginia on December 4th, 2004 instead of the original date of 11/27/04.

12/04/2004. The furniture is not delivered. A call is placed to Nationwide and they offer no excuse but say they will deliver Sunday, Dec. 5 in the morning.

12/05/2005 Customer receives a call from Justin the mover who says his truck has broken down and he will not be able to deliver.

12/06/04 Simona Brinkman of Nationwide calls customer and apologizes for the difficulty. She promises a delivery that night.

12/07/04 Nationwide calls customer at 12 noon at her place of work and tell her she better show up now or they are leaving. They also demand an extra $150 for carrying. Customer is forced to take the rest of the day off from work to accommodate Nationwide

Nationwide has lost customer's mattress and box spring and have no idea where it is. Furniture that does arrive is scratched and damaged. Nationwide's movers leave before all the large boxes are unpacked.

Nationwide does not return customer's communications of complaint.
