My wife got a loan offer in the mail for "up to $ 10,000.00". I asked her what the interest rate was, she checked both sides of the letter and found nothing. I told her she must have missed it because any loan offer must include the interest rate. She took off a plastic card that was glued to the the letter and there it was, on the back of that card---the interest rate was 33% to 66%, the print was so small even with my .reading glasses that I ended up using a magnifying glass to be sure I had read it correctly, really not an exaggeration. How in the hell could this be a remotely honest, also they want access to your bank...the hook is no one would read the incredibly small print in the ad and give them a call, and let their "loan consultants" help you. I think this targets older retired people who can't see the fine print, the minimum wage or monthly income is supposed to be $ 650.00 with them charging 66% interest???? Have you no shame sir, no shame at all?

It Is Typical!

That place is a SUBPRIME lender, just like those payday loan places you see. 66% APR is actually low. I've seen some contracts which had APR's alot more than that! Should those places be shut down? If someone is so stupid they don't read what the contract says, its their fault! If someone reads it, knows what they are getting into, then what business does the government have in preventing that?
