New Age Skin Products I ordered a "free trial” of 2 products. I was charged for shipping, which I understood. After ordering, I read a "ripoff report” on Yelp stating that another customer discovered that if you did not notify the company within 2 weeks of receiving trial product, they would automatically start sending products and charging for them on a regular basis without the customer’ s prior consent. I immediately sent an e-mail expressly telling the company not to send or charge for more product unless I expressly requested and ordered after the date of email. The e mail was read and responded to by customer service, well within the trial period. Today without further communication, I received 2 more packages for which I have been charged. Internet

I immediately called customer service and after some haggling was able to get a promise of a refund in exchange for return of the unopened boxes. However, I think this is a very shady practice, and I would avoid using the product just because of the way the business "free trial " issue continues to be handled. This is three years after the first complaint.*
