Received letter identical to that of the Global Financial Award Notification Ripoff:
"This is to infor you of the releas of the North American Prize Pool held on May 1st, 2007 in which your name was drawn randomly. You have been accorded a 3rd tier winner status. Your total winnings are Forty Five Thousand dollars ($45,000.00) in U.S. Funds. Congratulations!

Enclosed, please find a check of $1,650.00, which vocers both the administrative payment, and clearance fees of your winnings. For authorizing and processing of your prize, please cntact OUR North America agents, Wayne Clarkson and Gail Smith without further delay at 1-204-962-3458" etc.

I was weary about this, but then thought it might just be real until I noticed that the letter was addressed from PO Box 2694, New Brunswick NJ 08903 while it was mailed from PO Box 4058 Station A, Toronto ON M5W 1L8.

I found the exact type of letter also for the North American Prize Pool was a scam through Global Financial, so thought I should let others know.

Payment Logistics is a real company and has nothing to do with this scam!

AUTHOR: Noble Business - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 05, 2009

Payment Logistics is a real company and has nothing to do with this scam. Whoever these scammers are that are the cause of these complaints are attempting to use the names of unrelated legitimate businesses. Payment Logistics is bona fide merchant services provider and maintains an excellent reputation with its clients, agents, employees and vendors. It is unfortunate that many Rip Off Report posts (all relating to this scam) are using our company's name in the title. We would appreciate any posters refrain from using Payment Logistics' name unless you have an actual complaint with our company as these posts are damaging to our brand. We believe all posters have noble intentions and do not want to damage a legitimate unrelated business which is exactly what Payment Logistics is. Our url is www.paymentlogistics.com and our toll free support number is 888.624.3687. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
