Stay Away- Fraudulent- Dishonest

Nick Barat, the president of Superior Motorcars, sold me a car he presented with a clean Carfax- in fact he knew this car was in an accident and had been fixed in some second rate off radar body shop-The car appeared okay to the naked eye- but after driving the car home and having it washed- it appeared to have uneven paint- after a few days the paint on the bumper started to chip off-

I took the car to a very reputable body shop and it was quickly pointed out to me that the bumper had been replaced and poorly painted.  The car hood,the passenger side door had also been replaced and poorly painted.  The BMW emblem which is normally fastened with clips was glued on.  The repairs to make the car acceptable is between 8 and 10 thousand dollars. 

When I called Nick, he denied that the car was in an accident.  After some research, I discovered that he bought the car at auction in "severe damage" condition.  It was impossible to get him on the phone,until I got my attorney involved.  This is not a situation I would not wish on anyone. My attorney tells me I have a solid case that I could win.  The problem is that my legal fees would equal or exceed the cost of repairing the car and add another layer of aggravation.  I am hoping someone else may avoid this problem.
