THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF AND SCAMMER. The OWNER IS PRAYING ON THE PUBLIC AND HAS NO REGARD FOR ELDERLY.

Every month they are allowing hard working Americans to pay insurance for wheel and tire but if there is a claim that is higher than the amount you have paid they will not pay the claim.

THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING A PONZI FRAUD SCHEME NIU OF FLORIDA INC

It is simple here is now it works. Collect your premiums each month and if your tire claim is less than the premiums you pay for the year your claim is usually covered. If your claim exceeds the amount of your premiums they deny the claim. How can they get away with this: THIS IS NOT INSURANCE IT IS YOUR MONEY:

Although they advertise as a full insurer of all road side hazards (such as hitting a pot hole) the company uses a ploy by blaming your manufacturer of the wheel or tire damage if they want to deny the claim. Just about every car manufacturer has had a tire or wheel that has been defective so they will ask you to GOOGLE your manufacturer and YES you will see for yourself that it is your manufactuer (FORD, GM, BMW) that is the problem and in that case they are off the hook. Try it and see google your car manufactur under tire defect.

The fraud is that they know before hand that they will use this ploy so it makes it unethical and illegal. We are spreading the word to those that have been affected. Please contact ATTORNEY GENERAL Pam Bondi and file a complaint. Her staff is very understanding and easy to work with. She is doing a great job as Attorney General.

NIU of Florida, Inc. is a fully licensed and highly reputable provider of automotive warranty and service contract products. Our organization has been in business for 52 years, and we take great pride in providing exceptional value and service to our clients. We regret the fact that the individual who posted this report was dissatisfied with the outcome of his/her claim. Unfortunately, from the post we are unable to extract any factual information to refute this specific case on its merit.

That being said, we would offer the following in reply. First, NIU of Florida, Inc. takes great exception to the allegation that we have no regard for the elderly. In fact, we subscribe to the Florida Adjuster’s Code of Ethics (69B-220.201, F.A.C.) which specifically holds that “An adjuster shall exercise extraordinary care when dealing with elderly clients to assure that they are not disadvantaged in their claims transactions by failing memory or impaired cognitive processes.” A copy of the full code of ethics follows hereto. Every claim reported to our company is given due consideration, and we always try to find coverage where we can. That does not mean that every claim is payable, and the code of ethics dictates that claims must be adjusted in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The complainant’s contention that we deny claims that exceed the premiums paid is absolutely false, and we consider this allegation to border on the defamatory.

NIU of Florida, Inc. flatly rejects the unfounded allegation that we are running “a ponzi fraud scheme.” Again, our organization is fully licensed and has been vetted by the Florida Department of Financial Services. We pay the vast majority of the claims presented, and every claim that is reported to our offices is properly investigated to ensure that coverage is applied appropriately. Our claims are adjusted based only on the facts of the individual loss and the terms and conditions of the applicable contract. We take great care to ensure that the language contained in our contracts is clear and unambiguous. Regretfully, many people do not read their contracts and consequently have unmet expectations regarding the scope of coverage. The post alleges that we “advertise as a full insurer of all road side hazards…” In fact, our contracts covering road hazard damage to tires and wheels is very specific as to what is and what is not covered. Our contracts cover damage to tires and wheels that is caused by a road hazard. A road hazard is defined as something in the roadway that does not belong there. Excluded from coverage are damages to tires and/or wheels that are not caused by a road hazard. For example, there is no coverage for damage caused by a collision, an impact with a fixed object such as a curb, or due to a manufacturer’s defect. Any claim presented for damages caused by excluded causes of loss must necessarily be denied. Finally, customers are always given the opportunity to appeal any claim denial, and they are encouraged to submit additional documentation to support the claim. Again, it is difficult to rebut an anonymous post which lacks any specific details about the circumstances of the claim or the denial; however, we invite the complainant to provide us with the actual facts and circumstances of his/her claim so that we can have an intelligent discourse.
