I received letter after letter from an inmate. He mentioned how attractive I was and I began to get scared. I wrote him back to accuse him of being a stalker and to request he stop writing me. He replied asking me what was wrong with me. He received my picture from my very own ad, which was sold to him for $10 by Non Stop Connections. He was even kind enough to send me a copy of my "ad."

I realized that Non Stop Connections had stolen my ad from a popular (and completely free pen pal listing, word-for-word. I don't know where they stole the picture from because that's not me at all. I sent Non Stop Connections an email to request they remove my fake "ad," since I am not interested in finding love online--especially not from a website that coordinates dating communications with inmates.

Their response?: We don't just make up peoples info nor do we steal from ant site! Our site is totally free to ANYONE Who want to join. Therefor we can not look into the matter without your full name!

Rasheem Ali

My response: Excuse me,

What could the facts possibly be? You have a picture of someone that isn't me attached to words I wrote on another site (that is actually free). Also, I have a convict writing me that he paid $10 to receive my "ad" and "picture" from NSC.

You have my full name attached to my fraudulent "ad."

You may not just steal info from free sites and post random people's pictures to them but someone, obviously, did in my case. If it's free to join your site, there's no incentive for a random person--with nothing to gain--to do it. However, if you are charging inmates to see ads and you use pictures to draw them in--at $10 a pop--there's clearly an incentive for the owners of the site to post my ad and a fake picture.

Remove my "ad," that is all.

......I have yet to hear back from them.

I hope this report stops other inmates from believing their ads are legitimate.
