I bought a used 2007 BMW 335i Sedan on June 27, 2009. I test drove the car and it was all fine except the panel had the light warning on. Now to me, it didn't seem like a big deal because I thought it was only the turn signals. They flashed really quick. That usually happens when the turn signal light bulb(s) are out. So I bought the car and later when I went to buy the replacement bulbs, I notice something about the light housing. They were not the factory installed housing and the high beams and the turn signals did not work. I look up the light specs on the car and low and behold the headlamps were replaced with some other model. I brought this up to their attention via email and informed them that the car had a warning and the housing was replaced. I wanted to have them fix this since this was pre-existing and that it was no longer a 5min fix job. Instead the finance manager starts accusing me of removing the lights myselft. He stated that the car past the BMW inspection and their own (Norco Mitsubishi). They must be blind because you can't miss the warning light on the dashboard. What I am going to do is take it to the BMW dealer and have them print out when the warning light came on. That date will be from before I bought the car, which is what I will need to show the attorney that I now need to hire.

I put this up for others because that replacement of the headlamp housing and all labor is about $3,000 and up. There were other items that I overlooked and I had made a decision I would fix myself. I didn't need the added bonus of $3,000+ to be added on. So if you are thinking about buying a car from these guys.check everything and sleep it off for one day. Once you sign then you are old news and they don't really care.

Old trade in not paid off by Norco Mitsubishi

AUTHOR: George - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 11, 2009

I thought the lights were a problem but they have just turned into the least of my issues. Turns out the Dealership has gone under and they never filed my paperwork. So I am driving in a car that can't be register and I have no loan on. I called my old finance company for the car I traded in and was told that I was behind on my payments on a car that was suppose to be paid off. Today I had to walk in to the bank and make a payment on that car to try to save my credit. I had put down $8,000 down on this car and it will still unregistered because no loan was pushed through. Called an attorney and they said to contact the DMV to start. I filed a report with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) already. Attorney has not actually taken my case but said that it is going to be a hard case since there might not be anyone to sue.

So if you are in my situation or something similar contact the DMV investigators. These guys may have been selling cars knowing they were going belly up. To find your local DMV go to http://www.dmv.ca.gov/. You need an appointment to see the investigators. Their numbers will be listed on the DMV website. I called today and left a message and not sure if they will send me to Norco. I hope this helps people out there to be careful when buying a car. I thought I was savvy, but I can't say I saw this coming.
