Jonathan Taylor owner of Northeast Metals in Laconia New Hampshire breached of our verbal contract and commitment dates regarding the installation of a metal roof to our house. His refusal to return our phone calls emails, and text messages in keeping with our verbal contract (including a written contract in our possession to be signed) put us in a position to terminate the installation with Jon at Northeast Metals.

The roofing project was agreed to be completed on the 3rd or 4th weekend of September 2013 (the 4th weekend being the rain date). Those dates came and went with a no show and no further contact with us. Jonathan was supposed to commit to order/deliver materials once he received our deposit check in the amount of $1,666.00 and to also obtain a permit. Neither happened.

Northeast Metals failure to be on the worksite by the allotted time left us with an exposed roof only to be covered with a large tarp.  We had to react quickly and as a result, all materials expense and installation/labor for the roofing underlayment was completed by me with the help of family and friends. This was agreed to be Northeast Metals responsibility as stated in our written contract.

I started to get bad feelings about Jon, when after the third time we asked him for the references he said he would send us. Beware! Apparently, he doesn't have good references to share. He comes across as a very nice guy talking about family and coaching football. Again beware. Three addresses show up under his name when you Google it and we don't know yet, if the business address is legit either.

We, expect a full refund in the amount of $1,666.00 for breach of contract and services not rendered. To this date, we have not heard from Jon. Our last contact with him was on September 17th when he told me he was going to take final measurements of the roof. He disappeared after that.

Beware! Another victim of Northeast Metal Roofing Inc

AUTHOR: NickD - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, December 03, 2013

This is to inform folks that Jonathan Taylor of Northeast Metals is still ripping people off! He scammed someone else in July 2012 out of $3170.00.

I just found another post about Jon Taylor to further see if, he is building up a history of scamming people. Apparently he is. This is another person/family that has fallen victim to his ploys. How many more times will he get away with it before justice prevails? (Click the following link to see)

If you haven’t already done so, please contact Chief Chase of the Wolfeboro Police dept. and Chief Adams of the Laconia Police dept. to file a complaint. There may be more out there that have not come forward yet. At some point, the police will be forced to react and serve the overdue justice for the victims of Jon Taylor’s behavior.

Bogus business address on card & of four home addresses Tilton New Hampshire gets response to letter

AUTHOR: NickD - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 30, 2013

Further info regarding a response to certified letters sent; only the Tilton NH residence address was signed with no real proof he resides there. The Laconia Chief of Police verified the business address at 343 Court Street is occupied by another business called Eased Edges and that they have been there for several years. Others who filed a report on this site have spelled this contractor’s metal roofing business name in two ways; Northeast Metal or Northeast Metal(s). This is to alert people that these reports are linked to the same contractor and this website should link them together so, all the reports against this contractor come up under the same search. Beware that he is crossing state lines in New England and ripping off unsuspecting customers. Lynn MA is another victim of his efforts this year. (Under the name Northeast Metal)
