Northern Leasing Systems Ripoff Don't forget when the lease expires with these blood suckers New York New York

Signed a lease with these blood suckers in 1997. It was for a one year lease. At that time I thought once lease was over I would own the machine. The lease should have ended in 2001.

My accountant was not aware of length of lease and when lease expired Northern Leasing did not notify me that the lease was up and began billing me 32.95 a month for rental of the terminal that I had already made 48 payments on.

Now there is a problem with the machine and when I called Northern Leasing they say I need to get a new terminal and get a new lease. When I asked why I was not notified about the lease expiring and why I have been charged 32.95 for three years rental the woman representative says that it is not their obligation to notify me about the end of the lease and they can charge me an additional $1,000.00 because it is in the contract.

It gets even worse. When I told her that Northern Leasing had lost me as a customer and I would never do any business with them again she informed me that I would still owe them another $150.00 to exercise my buyout at the end of the lease. So for a terminal I now know should have cost about $800.00 I paid $1200.00 in lease payments, $1,000.00 in additional rental payments and they still want another 150.00 to terminate the lease.

Count me in on any class action suit against these criminals.
