The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Rhett Kasparian during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Notus Human Capital.

Notus Human Capital offers specialized services in correlation with job searches and ways to improve your current work performance to individual consumers as well as companies. These services include the revision of resumes, writing cover letters, and interview coaching for individual consumers. Rhett Kasparian explained how their services benefits companies during outplacement, "they'll send them to our company...it's a good gesture for them, and it's part of the severance package to help those displaced employees."

Leads for Notus Human Capital are obtained primarily through referrals from satisfied clients, as well as organic searches through internet advertising. Clients often sing praises of their services due to Notus Human Capital's commitment to providing excellent service to the consumer, "every person we've worked with over the past 18 years we offer that service for life...we offer our help for no additional costs." Mr. Kasparian went on to express that a potential customer can request to meet with himself or another employee to go over their services, "very low pressure it's really an educational situation to really understand more about their situation, and then explain via a presentation how we can help them." During the onsite interview Mr. Kasparian was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that during the oftentimes trying and emotional task of finding a job clients have a difficult time managing their expectations. In order to remedy this Notus Human Capital makes sure to explain in detail exactly how they can help their clients. Additionally, if there is ever a perceived expectation that isn't met, "we talk to them."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Kasparian expressed that he believes some of the comments were made by a competitor due to the personal attacks made in the statement. Additionally, he expressed that a past client posted a complaint because Notus Human Capital reached out to them on a Saturday, "she was upset that he called on a Saturday when it was coming from a place of trying to go the extra mile to help." Steve R--Notus Career Management Took my money and wrote half of a resume for me Salt Lake City Utah

Notus Career Management's slogan is "Welcome to your Foot in the Door." My recent experience with someone named Steve R. with this organization made me think the slogan should be updated to "welcome to my foot up your backside". This recruiting firm found me online and it appeared at first that it provided quality and reliable services. After speaking with a recruiter there, I agreed to have my resume professionally formatted and written for a fee of $200.00. The Notus employee did create a well-written resume for me, but it was only partially completed when he sent it to me for my review. It even included some bizarre quote in the objective section--something like, "George Smith of the ACME Company highly recommends Miss Ann Jones." I called Steve at Notus repeatedly and emailed him several times to inquire about this quote, as well to schedule an on-the-phone meeting for him to finish my resume. He ignored my messages for over a week, so I contacted his supervisor. The manager I spoke with was attentive and concerned about my troubles. This resulted in Steve leaving an incredibly passive-aggressive and sarcastic message on my voicemail system, along the lines of, "I am soooooo sorry but I don't believe I received any of your calls.... and you're very difficult to get a hold of, too." Basically, he threw the lack of contact back in my direction. I don't think this is professional behavior on his part! I may add that initially, when he and I talked on the phone, he called me at odd times like 6 am and on weekends! Maybe he works 24/7, but I found that to be quite a strange practice for a business. I am now out $200.00 and have a half-complete resume. I will work on it to complete it myself, but one would think that you wouldn't have to do the footwork if you're paying a "professional service" to finish this work for you. So for all of you who get contacted by this firm--beware! You'll most likely receive an initial cold call or email from a gentlman named Franklin. This dinosaur will leave a long-winded, babbling message on your voicemail. Do not take the bait! This grandfatherly type is no more than a money hunting device for this unethical organization. Notus does an exceptional job for their clients

I'm a headhunter with 12 years technology industry experience and was contacted by Notus 2 years ago with a candidate for a search I was conducting. With The recommendation of Notus, I was able to place this candidate at my client company and he is still employed there today.
I've also referred candidates that I couldn't help to Notus and they have been very successful at helping these candidates secure new employment. If you are a candidates expecting them to do all the work, I doubt you will find any career management or outplacement company that will do that. Their fees are far less than others in their industry and they have always been attentive, quick to respond and deliver what they promise to people I have recommended and candidates they have recommended to me.

It is important for us to make sure that as an organization, we conduct our business with the highest degree of integrity. To us, it is not a catch phrase, we truly do care about each individual we come in contact with, whether they become a client or not. So, when we saw comments like these posted here, we decided not to respond. We assumed that our track record was known and that people who were considering using our services would take the comments and then look at all of the other sources, including the Better Business Bureau http://alaskaoregonwesternwashington.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=114&bbb=1296&firm=55002952 and our ranking as one of the highest recommended Career Coaching Companies in the world on LinkedIn http://www.linkedin.com/svpRecommendations?scp=&sort=byResults&dgre=-1&cat=CRC&goback=.smp_*51, to gain a more complete picture.

However, we found in choosing not to respond it may give some, who without hearing the other side, the feeling that the comments are a reflection of who we really are and how we conduct ourselves, rather than an anomaly. That's not to say that we are perfect and have not made our mistakes. People have on a rare occasion slipped through the cracks and have waited longer than they should to be serviced appropriately. In any case, no matter what the issue, as has always been our practice, if there is someone who has a problem with our service we encourage them to email our President directly at rhett@getnotus.com or please call 800.431.1990 and we will take whatever steps necessary to rectify the situation.

Unfortunately, this was written by the client prematurely before the process was completed. In short, Mandy was pleased with her completed professional resume and to make up for the problems and our lapse in service, was given a cover letter and an additional tool called a P2P ($500.00 value). She was very appreciative.

I did a poor job prior to sending her the first draft, in explaining the techniques and processes we use on our resumes, which ended up being confusing. As first draft's go, the intention is always to finish the resume after being able to discuss the changes needed - which we eventually did. Our normal process is to return calls the same day, however in this case, for reasons not important, it took me longer than it should to finally connect. We do all we can to make contact with our clients, even when work schedules make it difficult. When we didn't connect I tried calling at times when I was more likely to reach her, albeit perhaps inconvenient.
