Please take notice that Wendy Knight has initiated an action in Maricopa County Superior Court, Case No. CV2018-054649, due to allegely false statements made by the author of the original Report No. 1431291.  In the Action, Plaintiff seeks to subpoena the records of Xcentric Ventures, LLC for your identifying contact information to be sent to Glenn B. Hotchkiss, Buchalter, P.C., 16435 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 440, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.  Plaintiff has served a subpoena on Xcentric Ventures, LLC, the company that owns and operates this website, to reveal your identities.  You may have a right to file and serve a response to the subpoena anonymously.  If you intend to file and serve a response, please do so, or notify us of your intent to to do so, on or before August 31, 2018 and provide a copy via email to Glenn Hotchkiss at ghotchkiss@buchalter.com  or via facsimile to (480) 824-9400.

Don't know about the job.  Don't know who wrote the report, but I did know Wendy years and years and years ago.  She was just as described.  Very mocking and mean, sadistic, even.  Not surprised she still can't admit that and own her actions.  Will pray for her hoodwinked employers.

 My name is Wendy Knight. I have been unfairly slandered and defamed by the above posting. I was recently selected and hired as the CEO of an insurance company after an extensive and competitive hiring process. Numerous individuals were competing for the position. This anonymous posting occurred during the midst of the hiring and selection process, in fact on the same day as my final interview. The post was also mailed, again anonymously, to several people involved in the hiring process. I believe this posting was made by another candidate (or someone on behalf of/in support of that candidate) who clearly had knowledge I was “in the running” for the position and attempted to derail my efforts.

A few key items of note: the complaint cites no actual events, rather lists an emotional torrent of phrases too unprofessional to repeat. I can assure you, that is NOT me. To the credit of my new employer and its Board of Directors, they too see that the behavior outlined in the complaint is not me.  I was selected over many other excellent candidates despite this vitriolic untrue posting. During the selection process, I was interviewed numerous times, and completed personality assessments.  Former work colleagues and others were interviewed about me, and I was vetted extensively by a well-known professional employment search firm involved in the process, by my employer’s search committee, and by my employer’s Board of Directors.

This posting is untrue and unfair, and reputationally and financially damaging that someone can anonymously post such irresponsible, unethical and false statements, and hide behind privacy protections afforded under misguided legal protections. I am happy to discuss this at any time with anybody.
