NRA, LLC Use scare tactics to get you to pay Florida

A company claiming to be NRA LLC began harrassing me with phone calls (cell phone, work phone and home phone) for several weeks beginning in early November. The left recorded messages saying I was to call regarding a claim. When I finally reached them on 11/10/15, the representative said I owed a loan company they were representing (CashNet USA) for a defaulted loan payment from 2013. The amount of the loan was $350 but they said I now owed over $600.00 due to extra charges, etc. They said I had to pay the first installment of $219.95 and then two other installments on 11/24 and 12/8, or my claim would be turned over to legal authorities. They seemed legitimate and because I was affraid of any legal repercussions, I paid the first installment via credit card that day. My gut told me something didn't add up, so I contacted the loan company (CashNet USA) and learned on 11/13 that this was a total fraud and I did NOT owe money to them for a loan from 2013. I contacted my credit card company and reported the fraud. Please be leary of this company and the phone number 844-226-2637. They'll keep harassing you, but do give into their demands. It's a total scam!
