I too am a victim of the Oak Tree Advisors scam. In late May of this year I answered the Craigslist Ad and was contacted by Matt Ford. We talked for about a half an hour. He seemed to be a nice guy and answered all my questions. I decided to go forward and I paid the $500 in two installments. This was done at the end of June. We decided that since the 4th of July holiday was coming up I would start after that. Matt sent me 150 leads over the next two weeks. As of this time I have not called any of the leads, so cannot speak as to the quality of them. I had some things come up and emailed Matt letting him know that I would need to start at a later date. He emailed me back and said no problem, just let him know when I wanted to get going. I was actually going to start this week, the first week of October 2013. I emailed him today to let him know I would be starting, no answer, I tried calling his direct line, 657-204-5248, it's been disconnected, i tried calling the toll free number, 866-826-8793 and it is now an IT company that wants to repair my computer. I then started looking on the internet to see if I could find any information on the company to see what was going on, and I found these Rip off reports.

I should have known better, whenever I would call the numbers I would get a blind voicemail box. Also after I signed up and gave him the $500 I got an email from Matt saying that we could not use Fidelity, but could only use Mutual of Omaha for the program.

In echoing what the other posters have said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. When looking on Craigslist be very CAREFUL when applying for a position. I'm out $500. Lesson learned a little to late.
