When we purchased a timeshare at Ocean Reef yacht club we were enticed with a bonus of 5 free weeks.  We dscided that with the 5 free weeks it was not such a bad deal and bought into the program.  When we attempted to use one of the 5 free weeks we were told that we would have to pay the maintanence fee for the week of $450+ plus a utility surcharge of $65.  That is not free!  We could go on the internet and rent a large nicer room at the same resort for less than the maintenance fee!

This timeshare was sold based on a fraudulent bait and switch gimmick.  I am not interested in doing any further business with liars and want a full refund.  It is unfair that I am obligated to pay these maintance fees every year to a resort I want no part of.  It is unfair that I must buy into RCI and pay a fee to trade to another resort because they lied.  I will not trade and throw good money after bad.  I will go to the resort if I am forced to pay and I will insure they do not sell a single timeshare while I am visiting.

We at Apex are so sorry that you were misguided and sicerely apologise to you! Here in the Bahamas, tourism is all we have and your distaste does nothing to further our efforts to remain the premier destination for people in this region to trvel to. Please tell us who the person was that guided you wrongly, because our membership agreement clearly states that you pay the associated maintenance fees for our Bonus Weeks. Contact us at 242-374-1120 so we can do our best to remedy this definite deviation from our culture and policy here at ocean Reef. Thank you for your attention and please get back to us.
