OEV CONSTRUCTION Oto Espinoza He poured and finished concrete that cracks everywhere and it forms water that runs to the house and is damaging my siding foundation. The strange shed he built me leaks everywhere and has dry rot on all the lower part of the siding. Very poor workmanship, He basically told me to F off when I asked him to please come repair or at least look at it. Modesto California

I met Oto at Home Depot he was handing out cards for his business OEV construction. He told me he is a licensed general contractor as well as a concrete contractor. He came to my hous and gave me what sounded like a very reasonable estimate. But after I gave him a down payment he took over 3 weeks to return phone calls to me, I left over 10 messages. He had promised to start the following week after I gave him the down payment. He lied. Then when he came he was obviously on something, marijuana or alcohol. I think it was both  because I noticed him smoking several times and smelled the smell of pot. But he also had alcohol smell on his breath. Well he poured a concrete foundation for the shed he was going to build for me. Then he also poured a 3 feet by 16 foot walkway. The forms he put up we're all crooked and uneven. But he told me not to worry, he used 2x4s in some place and 2x6"s in others, they were definitely wood he had used many times. After he poured the concrete which was very crooked on the edges, very rough on the top and had a very very uneven surface, then he built the shed. The shed looked ok although I asked him why the siding had gaps where the wood came together, lush he used the wood from the forms so it has concrete stains or concrete attached to it! He told me very rudely not to worry about it he would fix it. He finished the shed which looks horrible, the roof leaked at the first rain and it puddles inside of the shed. The concrete walkway has puddles everywhere when it rains. And is cracking and even big part s are chipping off the side. The siding of the shed is also warping from the water running inside the walls. I called him many times to please come fix it. He said he did not have time. I asked him very politely to please come at least look at it and he finally got angry one day and used profanity basically telling me to F OFF! I am very upset with his poor workmanship and his very poor customer service skills. He will not come out and fix even though I paid him $3200. This is not right. I also talked to my friend I gave his card to and he did the same thing to him. Poured and finished concrete that was not good workmenship. He charge my friend $1800 and will not return his phone calls or come back to look at the poor work he did. He is horrible at what he says he is good at, a terrible choice as a contractor. Stay away from this guy!
