We hired OmegaOne (OO) to deploy up to 5MM Emails for my company. It never happened and they actually sold our house file to another company to sell Penny Stocks. I have Proof of Everything.

The whole process was a Red Flag but since a friend recommended I stayed with them. They are not in the US, they are in Berlin, and they are currently under investigation here in the states.

I seed my files before delivery to anyone outside my organization. Seeding is adding one or multiple emails that are unused/unique, menaing that there receive ZERO emails. I added three seeds to my House File of 400,000 records before sending to "Henry- alias" at OmegaOne

I did this for two reasons:

1.  To see if and when my emails are being deployed.

2.  To track the use of our house file and make sure it's not being compromised.

Result: 

1.  The email we paid to be deployed Was Not. Not one of the 3 Seeds received the email I paid to be delivered. We never received one sign-up on our website. After sending 10k out of another platform we received 97 sign-ups the first four days. OO also never sent any reporting on the "campaign"

2.  My Seed did receive an email from a company selling penny stocks. I called them and OO and explained my next call was to our attorney and the authorities. 

Apart from this whole operation being a scam, with the poor communication skills of aka "Henry" or "Chuck", to use our house file of 400k emails and sell to another client is against the law. We even had an NDA set-up.

Lastly, for amusement here is an email string that highlights the quality of this organization:

TO Omega, chuckeomega, legal, pg     Hi Henry and Chuck,   You probably understand that by now I am asking for a full refund on the purchase of the goods that were not delivered and have subsequently filed two claims with two banks and the (US) federal government.    Now have a much bigger issue. Three of the seeds that we placed in our file that we uploaded into OmegaOne just received emails Thursday from someone that you have sold our list to. The screenshot of the email is attached. To be clear these seeded emails are not in use for any other reason than to track our list and your use of it. On top of this, the email shows other recipients from our list who have been cc-d on the email (not top notch marketing). You told us that our data was proprietary to us and would not be used for any other reason. We plan on reaching out to the company:

  you sold our list to Monday. I'm also turning this over to my attorney on Monday. We have been down this path before and it will get very complicated and expensive quickly. If you are not in the US, I'm sure social media will dismantle your reputation fairly quickly.   Here are the steps I am asking you to take:  

1.  Delete our data from your systems immediately.

2.  Issue the full refund for the $1489.   I was referred to you by a colleague and he is disgusted in what has happened here. I am blown away at this and can only imagine that you are off-shore and this is all a big scam. I came to you in good faith and looked forward to the services you claimed to provide, but instead, I received zero services and you have now entered an arena of grand theft and fraud.    Above all of this- We never received "our email" from us, that you said you sent.  C. 

FROM Omega One Oct 6 (12 days ago)   to me   Omega One Marketing   omegaonemedia@gmail.com   Defrauding us and filing for a chargeback at your bank makes any agreement we had with your list obsolete. However we did not sell your list.   

The email you received is probably about Acorn.  We are marketing for one of our customers and he is now very happy receiving lots of responses from our campaign.   I thought you accused us of  not sending out emails when we say we sent it.  Why did you then receive something to your seeded email then?. This is what you are missing out on now.   And you will never find another company that an deliver.

You are just one more evil white man.  Only white men can do legitimate business on the internet.  If anyone else does it, they are fraud, they are offshore.  Evil piece of sh*t.   I will show you that I went to an Ivy league school University of Washington. I will soon how you that not only white people can do business. 

You will be hearing from my attorney for the funds you defrauded us.  If I receive any accusation from you with no proof, you will be receiving a suit for racism.  You wont want a suit of racism from me,  you will be dealt with terribly.  I have dealt with your kind before.  Evil white man!!  Your fraudulent reign of supremacy is about to end!!
