I bought a Beyond Micro 250 GB HDD from Tigerdirect.ca. There was a mail-in-rebate of $50 CAD.
July 7th 2006 Applied for rebate.
July 25th 2006 rebate was accepted by Onrebate.com
Since then they have not sent the payment. I have called 5 times since August 2006 Every time I call.....after holding for 45- 50 minutes...their customer service promises that the rebate will be sent out tomorrow....but it never is. I have called them about five times and some old story. I have also emailed them but no response.
Its very sad that reputed companies like Beyond Micro & Tiger Direct are part of this scam.
I have also seen lot of complaints agianst Onrebate on the web...
I am also going to get in touch with the BBB and see what they can do.
