Oreck Direct, LLC Oreck XL2 a very expensive badly designed vacuum Internet

The Oreck XL2 Celoc Hypo-Allergenic Plus vacuum is an expensive and poorly designed piece of equipment. After spending almost $400.00, I soon found that the paper bag would not stay attached to the plastic  neck which resulting in the outer vinyl bag filling with debris.

After contacting the Oreck Company by phone and then Internet, I was directed to the nearest repair shop ( over 60 miles away) where I was sold a part that would hold the bag to the intake neck. This I am embarrassed to say was another $25.00 down the tubes as it did not work.

To date, this messy and expensive vacuum is nothing more then a headache and I curse the day that I didn't stick with a Eureka!
