Owen Wraxall, 'the Marketing Guy' is nothing of the sort.

Whatever he says... it's not true. Whatever he shows you ... it's not so.
Whatever time line you think you have agreed upon? It's just not the case.

This shameless fraudster has killed my business by not delivering a website.
A website which was to be the very heart of my new enterprise.

I established Designer's Kitchen Gallery in the summer of 2006.
Being newly arrive from Germany, I relied upon local consultants and Owen Wraxall, 'the Marketing Guy' promised me the moon.

'The Marketing Guy' promised to deliver the complete website in November of 2006. It is well into 2008 and absolutely nothing is forthcoming. I have lost at least $ 750,000 in revenues the past year without the website and likely many multiples of that.

Through the involvement of a local government agency and lawyer the full payment of $ 15,000 was inadvertently released in advance.

This began an endless routine of no returned call or emails, excuses, explanations and deception which I have never experienced and a litany of continuous bull which may well be unprecedented.

Like a fool I believed him, again and again and again and again and again.
But ya know, that's what being an entrepreneu and dreamer is all about.. believing in people.

The fact this ruse continued over such a period of time ( 15 months ) was impressive but we should have taken action long ago. I kept waiting for the faintest glimpse of integrity to show itself. To no avail.

We are suing him.
We are reporting the fraud.
We are initiating criminal prosecution.
Still we should have started a year ago
and it all takes time.

In the meantime, if you have any dealings with this fellow, please beware.
With even a cursory investigation in this small town of Stratford, Ontario, Owen Wraxall has ripped off two other businesses we know of.

We expect 'the Marketing Guy' is partnered with a fellow who claims to do mentoring, perhaps 'the Mentoring Guy'? This too will alert you to the skulduggery and scammery foisted upon us by this Owen Wraxall.

These charlatans recommend each other and often use Charities as cover.

Owen Wraxall 'the Marketing Guy' is listed all over hell's half acre.
It is my hope you read this notice before you succumb to his bogus puffery.

It will save you time.
It will save you trouble.
It will save you money. And it may even save your business.

Sometimes we say things we don't really mean

AUTHOR: Peter - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, August 20, 2009

You know as a business person, we have to wear a lot of hats and rely on many people to get the job done and sometimes it just doesnt go the way that we planned. AND often times its the most unlikely people who come to your aid. I am speaking specifically about Owen Wraxall, The Marketing Guy. The initial report was written out of frustration and was never supposed to actually be used. In fact Owen and I had been in talks about the specifics of the situation and had in place a firm agreement for both parties and were meeting our project responsibilities.

Now unknown to Owen, I had retained the services of a freelance business/marketing consultant to help me to raise the additional capital needed for the expansion of my business. When my consultant heard me explain the situation he had his own ideas about how to handle things. Some of the ideas made sense logically, but personally could end ones business, and although unsatisfied with the performance at the time, I didnt feel that my consultants ideas were the best options we had and left the conversation to be picked up when I returned from my business trip. I really wish I hadnt have gone because I could have stopped what happed next. In my absence my consultant posted my personal frustrations on the site and made a small controllable situation into a never ending nightmare.

You see the progress that Owen and I were making was fantastic. Deadlines were met before their due date, ideas were exchanged confidently and I really felt we were moving forward Then he (Owen) called me furious about the posting and I dont blame him given some of the things that were written. They were hurtful and mean and written in anger, never to be shown to anyone, but as a way to just get the feelings out so that I could think more rationally about the situation.

It has taken some time, but Owen and I have been able to come to terms with our previous issue and find common ground on which to rebuild from. We are both strong-willed and passionate business men with vision. Sometimes it takes just putting our egos aside to be able to focus on the business at hand but when we do great things happen. It was never personal just business and I know that Owen understands this.
