Pawn Stars: The Game Available on FaceBook Game Techs Punish Success and Boot Good Players Internet

Pawn Stars: The Game is a free 'APP' available through FaceBook and is based on the hit cable show Pawn Stars on the History Channel.

Essentially it is a game of buying and selling but much more complex.  There are levels to achieve, bonuses to unlock, and it is a past-time activity that encourages social interaction online with FaceBook friends.

Several hours ago, after many months of play, some 'tech' from Pawn Stars: The Game wiped my virtual pawn shop clean and reset it to the starting stats.

165 levels of play, hundreds of millions in game dollars of profit, and the unlocking of 80% of all bonuses the game has to offer - all gone.  The 'tech' that informed me, after the fact and after I asked for the seeming error to be fixed, informed me in a boiler plate message that my success was too good in the game.  To achieve what I had I must have cheated somehow (no evidence of cheating/hacking other than fantastic success).

This 'tech' went on to explain that none of what I achieved would be restored.

So . . . a huge WARNING to anyone wishing to pick up this game as a past time - DO NOT get attached to it or allow yourself to desire a pursuit of game success.

If you get good at the game you risk being unceremoniously tossed out and being labeled as a cheater or hacker.

I wouldn't even know how to hack such a game APP - nor would I want to.  Why play a game if you are not actually going to play it?
