Pay-O-Matic Fraudulent wire transfer/Larceny New York New York

 In September of 2016, I wired a friend in New Jersey $150.00 via Western Union. I called her the following day to make sure that she got it and she told me it had already been picked up - in Brooklyn, NY. She got nothing. I went back to the location with my receipt and they went into outright lie mode. Even with my receipt, they just denied that anything at all had happened. The female manager was surly and combative. At first, she denied everything. Then, she tried to pass the buck to Pay-O-Matic corporate. Then, she insisted it was Western Union's fault. In any event, nothing was done about it and I ended up wiring the money to my friend in New Jersey again. She got it the second time. I have been back to that location at least a dozen times to get my refund and straighten this out and all I get is the runaround. Western Union's "investigation" was nothing short of a complete coverup. I provided them with names, dates, times, and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN - standard on all of their money transfer receipts that are successfully completed) and they did -precisely nothing. They stated that their investigation turned up "no wrongdoing." To get my money back, I will have to take legal action. I just want to warn folks.
