This company worked with a dealership to rip off my mom. When she kept in touch and let them know that the dealership sold her a lemon they acted like they wanted to help her be made right. She was finally able to convince the dealership to fix the car and make her whole. After paying insurance and a note on a car that wasn't working nor in her possession because the dealership had it fixing it after everything was fixed Peoples wanted to repo the car now. She put in money to get it repaired and so did the dealership. They said she had 10 days to pay the one missed note or they were going to sell the car. She asked could the note be put on the end as good faith but he said no pay know or the car is sold. So only after driving the car one week she is out all the money put into the car.

Bottom Line

You can blame the dealership all you wish but the bottom line is by your own admission, SHE missed a payment and as such, SHE turned on the collections machine all the way to a repo. The mechanical problems are not a factor. Even with mechanical problems, the payments need to be made.
NO RIPOFF HERE - Complainer's mother failed to make on time payment and caused a repo. As usual, complainer blames lender.
