Percise Auto Protection Convincing consumers ,via phone call, to accept extended vehicle warranty coverage based on false claims of vehicle coverage Azusa California

 Generally, I am not this trusting.... especially when it comes to a phone marketer trying to sell me something.  However, on Saturday, 1/18/14, I was caught totally off guard when I received this call from Precise Auto Protection offering me an opportunity to extend my service warranty on my BMW, which had just recently expired.  The representative led me to believe that he was affiliated with BMW, for example, he led me to believe that this vehicle warranty was an extension of my previous warranty that had recently expired with BMW. My previous 3 year car warranty with BMW covered all of my service repairs except for the tires.  I specifically asked the representative if this warranty covered the same service repairs as BMW and he assured me "absoultely" . He assured me that this warranty covered even more for example he said it covered all my car repairs for 5 years.  He even told me that I could transfer the coverage to a new car if I decided to trade my car in before the 5 years expired.  He told me that he would mail me a copy of the warranty agreement within 5 days and explained that I had 30 days to review this agreement and/or cancel it and receive a full refund of the $411.50 down payment that I was required to pay that day.  Trusting......that this is affiliated with BMW and with the knowledge that I could cancel this agreement within 30 days for a full refund of my $411.50 down payment, if I really didn't like it, I Agreed. 

As he promised, I received the agreement on 1/22/14, but to my surprise as I read the written agreement, it didn't cover the service repairs as he had led me to believe, for example, none of the aforemention service repairs that he told me over the phone on 1/18/14 were covered. For example, the written service agreement cover only the engine and transmission, not all service repairs except the tires, moreover it specifically stated that I cannot transfer the coverage to a new trade in car.  I was appalled, he lied. 

Therefore, on 1/23/14 I called Precise Auto to cancel the coverage and told the representative, Ashley, why I cancelled the coverage based on the lies that were told to me by the representative on 1/18/14.  Ashley explained that they would cancel the coverage but I also needed to send  a letter of cancellation, which I did on 1/23/14.  To date, the $411.50 has not been credited back to my credit card.  I called them today and talked to their representative name Shane.  He verified that they had received my letter of cancellation but told me that it will take 30 days before they could credit back my $411.50 down payment.  I have read other consumers reports about this company and am also praying that I will some how get my money back and never, never, again fall for such a scam.  vera, Fayetteville, Ga
