I purchased a 2011 Toyota Prius in 2015 from Peruzzi in Hatfield, PA. The price I negotiated with them was $16,000, yet buried deep within the contract where no one could have found it, they charged me $17,000 for the car.
When I finally found it in the contract, I returned to the dealership and spoke with the President at the time. He told me when my car (my tradein) was auctioned, he would make sure I was reimbursed. Well, IT NEVER HAPPENED.
I read on this website where the exact same thing happened to another buyer. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER - AND THEY WORK TOGETHER TO SCAM PEOPLE - THE SALESMEN, FINANCE PEOPLE AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEALERSHIP. MY BEST ADVICE IS STAY AWAY.

What kind of BOGUS add-on fees did they include? Was there a PURELY BOGUS "documentation" fee? What about a PURELY BOGUS "dealer fee"? I'm curious, tell us! You say this $1000 could not be seen. If so, why did you find it at home? Were there not line item amounts on the contract? That's where this $1000 would be found! Did you even bother to READ the contract BEFORE you agreed to it? The slime of the car business gets away with their FRAUD and DECEPTION because they know people will not take the time to READ what they are signing. They know the average person walking they the doors hasn't the slightest clue as to what they are doing. That's why the include these BOGUS FEES. They give them an official sounding name and the doormat buying the car thinks they are legitimate when they are not! From this point on, be certain you READ whatever you are about to sign. If you would have done this, we wouldn't be here now, would we?
