 I filled out my information to get a Piggly Wiggly discount card and brought it back to the Pooler, Georgia store to receive the card.  There was a woman above- in the Customer Service cubicle on the telephone, so I waited patiently for her to take care of me.  10 min. later, she hadn't so much as acknowledged my existence!  5 minutes more and I decided to take a walk around some aisles to comparison shop.  I returned to the Customer Service area and she was STILL on the phone, hadn't even spoken to me at all, and now I am extremely aggravated.  Thinking to myself " Why in the world would I want to give any business, or frequent this store when I can't get any attention?  3 more minutes and I'm outta here."  A polite cashier came over from her area and asked what she could do for me  (Now,after approx. 25 minutes of standing at the counter for customer service, & walking around). 

I handed her the application for the discount card, she went up into the cubicle and conferred with the lady who was STILL on the telephone.  She returned to me and said "I'm sorry, I cannot give you a card" To which the woman on the phone FINALLY speaks to me " We don't give out the cards any more because we are closing in November."
"But we will give you a discount on anything you buy in the store today."
I said "no, that's ok." And as I walked out the store, I tore up the application for a Piggly Wiggly card and threw it in the garbage pail so conveniently located by the front door as I was leaving.

No acknowledgement of the customer who stood there for nearly 25 minutes, even to say "Welcome to Piggly Wiggly, I'll be there as soon as I can." ? 
2.  I know there are about 3 Piggly Wiggly stores in Savannah, Ga.  Even if the store in Pooler(15 minutes away from Savannah) were closing, issuing the card would have had my continued business, as this app. was to replace the keyring card which was so worn out it wouldn't scan and one couldn't even read the numbers!
Now I'm going to take my business where it is appreciated, and where appropriate customer service is still practiced.   

P.S:  I also went on the Piggly Wiggly Corporate website to issue my complaint, but when I had typed it in, there was no "Submit" button to post it. 

That is why I came to your website, this is rediculous~~ because I cannot issue my complaint directly to the Piggly Wiggly corporate website, do they think there is no other recourse open to me?

 You must think yourself so very important. Secondly, you have no idea what that employee is dealing with. So you had to wait. Im sure it did your self entitled attitude some good. Thats the problem with people like you. You refuse to see ANYTHING past your own little needs. So you want to blame them because you have no patience. Youre just another consumer attempting to get something for nothing because you were MADE TO WAIT!!!!! Do you tend to pull this BS when you have to wait in line at DMV? How about when youre driving.

Instead of just going to a CASHIER and requesting assistance, you waited around on principle. Thats on you. If I was dealing with a customer on the phone, I wouldnt acknowledge you either. That person on the phone is NO DIFFERENT then you in the fact that they need help. You need some lessons in patience, and you need to pull your head from your rump. Its causing you to DISREGUARD social niceites, and is the main problem I see in your post. Yes, you ARE important, but not SO important that people need to treat you better then you are treating them.
