We took out a loan from pioneer to go on vacation before we went overseas and have been late once and they sent us the nastiest email of all time actually threatening us. Real business do not do this if your late they send you a reminder not i am going to take legal action on you. This is a pathetic attempt to self debt collect and these people should be ashamed of themselves. This is not my only complaint with this company you may pretend to serve the military community but really you do them a great disservice by loaning to them. You put them in great debt and take out high payments with a exstremely high intreast rate. People really need to look at their relief society before they go to you there is actually no need for by the way you treat military members. Your company also does not honor the Service members relief act which is a sure pathetic sign no one should be using it good lenders always honor that act and they go out of their way to Inform you of it. I actually have a petition going around our base right now to have this company completely banned from lending to the military community.

You Can Put Away The Military Card

Don't even attempt to use the military as an excuse for your actions. It won't work here and its an INSULT to those of us who have served honorably! YOU were late for the payment, not them. When YOU were late, YOU turned on their collections efforts, plain and simple. In another statement YOU described the whole situation perfectly.
Their high interest rate to you means YOU are a subprime borrower. YOU became a subprime borrower by YOU not paying YOUR previous bills on time. Bottom line? Pay your bills and don't ever, ever use the military as some excuse to justify being a deadbeat. No, I don't work for them.

This is a deadbeat lender. You are adding to your poor credit history by borrowing money at a high interest rate to "go on a vacation." Not a particulary smart move.
"..i am going to take legal action on you. This is a pathetic attempt to self debt collect and these people should be ashamed of themselves."
What "legal action" are you going to take. Are you going to claim they've rude and persistent in their efforts to collect what you AGREED to pay them. Why also should they be "ashamed of themselves" for trying to collect THEIR money?
You had no problem with the interest rate when you signed the agreement...now you come on here and b***h about it. Nice of you to claim a special status "mililtary" to justify your failure to live up the terms of the payment plan..way to go. THEY did NOT rip you off> No, I don't work for them and NEVER borrow from a sub-prime, deadbeat lender.
