I worked for this company for quite a while and I have been in this industry prior to this company for several years and was quite successful and the only reason I came to this company was that I was enticed and encouraged to come here by former employees of the company I left...

This company calls itself PLS..which is supposed to stand for PEOPLE LOCATION & SERVICE, and tries to sell its self as having started in 1939 but in reality, didnt start till 1997...

The brothers who started this in 1997 try to play off their Grandfathers Exchange from 1939... They want to talk about being a friendly company, but they are open 365 days a year ( yes, even Christmas and Easter ) I mean, my goodness, even the largest retailer in the world closes on Christmas

They are nothing but greedy guys with no direction for the payday, title or check cashing industry... Their bafoons in the Corp office know little to nothing about how to run a company of this size... If you go to work for these people, you will be frustrated beyond imagination... Their marketing people come up with Popcorn Machines and Toy areas in their stores instead of Operations Manuals to show how to be successful.

I got tired of beating my head against the wall...and whats all the more sad, is that some of the Upper Management know its wrong, but no one has the guts to stand and say it is...  There is unrealistic goals and expectations, undefined direction...

The salary is not bad, however, its just not worth it...and you guessed it, after 2 years of this hell...I gladly went back to my former company which is not perfect, but isnt being destroyed by a bunch of idiots who have no idea what they are doing..

It reminds me of in the 80's when I worked for Zacks Frozen Yogurt and was a great company to work for till the owner of the company gave his buddies from the oil industry jobs...and they destroyed it because of their lack of understanding of that industry..

The debt load in Texas in huge...and eventually the lender will pull out...

So Dan & Bob... It would be highly advisable to look at your multiple VP's and make a change...or be prepared to walk the long dark road of Montgomery Wards, Woolworths, KMART and soon to be Blockbuster..

I made you money...but your leadership is destroying your company... Perhaps, you need to come down, listen to your managers and then maybe you can save your company before its too late and before PLS stands for Pittful, Lousey and Stupidity
