In a moment of weakness I ordered a ring from Premier Estate Liquidators on the Extreme Shopping Network. I cancelled the order before the ring was shipped and within the 24 hours I was told that I could cancel without any charges. The ring was shipped to me anyway and my credit card charged $1,275.00.
I promptly contacted Premier Estate liquidators and told them that I wanted to return the ring. They tried to talk me into taking an "inhouse credit" with Extreme Shopping Network instead. I refused and returned the ring as instructed by them, Registered Mail, Return Reciept.
They received the ring. I never received a credit to my Visa card. I called and called about this and got one stall after another. In the meantime I filed a dispute with my bank on the Visa charge. They are still investigating.
When Premier Estate Liquidators found out that I have filed a dispute on the charge they then told me that they couldn't issue a credit until I removed the dispute. I declined.
More than two months after being charged for merchandise that I, in effect, never ordered, instead of getting a credit to my account, I get a notice from an attorney that Premier Estate Liquidators is in bankruptsy. I may get a protion of my money back when they liquidate their assets.
If this isn't fraud I don't know what is.

The exact same thing happened to me kept the merchandise that I had returned and the money!! What can we do?
