Prestige Auto Group of Florida LLC Lies, Fraud, Cheats, Thieves, Con Men Port Richey Florida

I was looking for a pick up truck with a 7.3 liter diesel engine.  I found one on Craigslist.  I called Presige auto and spoke to Tony.  Tony told me that the truck had a rebuilt motor and transmission, and that they had less than 100 miles on them.  We came to an agreement on the price over the phone.  I then drove down to see the truck.  Again he told me that the transmission and the motor were rebuilt.  I looked and could see new hoses and some wires.  I specifically asked him if the top half was rebuilt only and he told me that the entire motor including the lower half was all rebuilt and that they stand behind their work.  I asked for proof and he said he would supply it when he got it the next day from the owner.  I then agreed to buy the truck if he was going to get me the proof.  I paid a little more than 8000 dollars for the truck, cash.  One day went by, then two and still no proof.  I called several times to get the proof, each time he offered nothing in response.  I then said he committed fraud and I wanted my money back.  I drove down to the dealership trailer and the owner Greg Lane was there.  I spoke to him about the situation and he told me that his salesperson lied and he had fired him.  He told me the motor was not rebuilt.  He then said ...really though you should have asked for a warranty...afterall if it was rebuilt you should have one.  This was his way of throwing the fault back on me for the fraud that his salesperson committed.  He then said that he did not have to give me my money back because the paperwork said "AS IS" on it. He then said "but I want to have a good business name so I will refund your money." Remember that I was told there was less than 100 miles on the motor and transmission so "AS IS" was fine if that had been true.  

Yesterday Greg Lane said he would give me my money back, agreed that I was lied to, that Tony committed fraud, and then told me that he just had to get the paperwork right with the DMV, and to call him tomorrow to make arrangements.  So far he is avoiding my calls...he had a woman named Ann call me to ask me what the mileage was on the truck....(When I looked on the contract, Tony the used car salesman had filled in zero miles...again I thought less than 100 on the rebuilt motor and tranny.  It has 298 thousand and change on the motor.

The guys are cheats and liars and conmen who will do anything to take your hard earned money from you.

These guys stole from me,,,and yes I feel stupid that I believed that guy.

Remember that this guy agreed that his salesmen committed fraud....he admitted it...and still he is avoiding my calls.  I am now looking for an attorney to go after him.....even if I lose in court,,,I know they are frauds, liars and conmen and everyone else should know as well.
