In June of 2007 a George Leon (aka) Zion Koush PO Box 8701 Century Village. Deerfield Beach, Florida 33443-8701 called me and said he had a doctor from te New York area who wanted to buy my time share for $10,000 and had put a deposit of $2,000 down. The fee of $699.00 to Prestige Timeshare Marketing, Inc. would take care of everything.

I was to call an 800 number and give my credit card information. I was instructed to ask for David Harris and he would get things started. That was in June of 2007, I didn't hear anything and called David Harris a couple months later. He said they had so many closings it would take a couple of weeks or a month. Okay, I agreed, finally after several phone calls to Mr. Harris I told him that I hoped this would be done by the end of the year. I had some medical bills due to an illness and really needed the money.

Harris said to check the following week and he would have a closing date for me. When I called I was told oh yes you moved right up from 125 to the top of the list and settlement was set for Friday Nov. 9, 2007. I was then instructed to call at 10:00 am that morning and he would tell me the time of the closing. I called and was told all was set for 1:00 pm and Mr. Harris said he would call when everything was done and the sign off kit would be mailed to me that day.

About 2:00 pm Mr. Harris called to tell me the people had not shown up on time, they were probably stuck in traffic, okay I told him but why don't you call to see what is going on? Oh, I don't have a phone number for them. What are you telling me you don't have a phone number for them, how did you set all this up and not have a phone number? Well he told me they are staying in an apartment and don't have a phone---but everyone has a cell phone I told him.

Called ended and received a phone call about 4:30 pm and Mr. Harris tells me that the doctor was getting a divorce and would not be buying the time share. Harris told me that there was a Boat Show here in Florida that same week-end and his salesmen would be marketing may time share and he would be in touch.

Early in January 2008 Samantha Pierson, the Vice President of Prestige called and they had another buyer for my time share, wonderful I told her just let me know when the closing is. By this time I was convinced that this was a scam but went along with things just to see what happened. Ms.Pierson said they would proceed with the sale as soon as I paid them the balance of $1,300. I asked what balance I paid you the fee required, I was told that the total fee was $1,900 that I paid the $699.00 and in order to proceed with the sale the balance needed to be paid. Ms. Pierson said my salesman went over all this with me and I said no he did not, if George Leon told me the fee was $1,900 in the beginning I would have said no. Well we can't proceed.

My husband and I had planned a trip to Florida the end of January and I brought all my information went to the office of Prestige. First I asked for David Harris, sorry he isn't here, then I asked the young girl if she was Samantha and she said yes, I gave her my name and wanted to talk about this $1,300. We went into her office, we went back and forth about this--she kept insisting the salesmen went over all this, I ask for George's cell number and she tells me he is working in the field and can't be reached.

Then I asked for written proof that I agreed to $1,900, she didn't have anything because I never signed an agreement like that. Next question was could I see the papers that they advertised my time share in and she told me to pick up the free paper anywhere that it was in there. My daughter was with me and she had been in marketing so she asked some questions and Ms. Pierson got very nervous and got up and said, nice talking to you, opened the office door and walked to the front door with us.

Please be aware these people are crooks and I intend to contact the Miami Herald to see if they will write an article on Prestige Timeshare Marketing, Inc. also I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General in Florida and the Better Businnes Bureau.
