PriceMad/Projctor Export Dishonest electornics seller. Avoid Avoid Avoid! New York Internet

I ordered a Sharp LCD TV from Projector Export/ Price Mad ( from what I now know, they change their name all the time to try and avoid prople like me that tell the truth of what they do.) The price seemed very good, so when they called me to about the order and also "upgrade" me to a newer model for another $100.00 ( a call everyone seems to get ) I asked the person on the phone: This is a brand new TV in the box, correct? He said: "Oh yes, brand new in the box with a one year warranty"

After receiving the TV I noticed in the paper work included with the TV that the Warranty sheet had been stamped " Voided by Sharp Electronics". Another warranty sheet was included that said this is a refurbished TV with a 30 day warranty. I also looked at the back of the TV and noticed a sticker on it that stated it was a refurbished product. Nowhere on my online purchase invoice was it stated that the TV was rebuilt/refurbished.

I attempted to contact Projector Export/ Price mad. they did not return my e mails or phone messages. I put a dispute in with my creditcard co. Porjector Export/Price mad sent my creditcard co. an invoice stating that the TV was refurbished/rebuilt and that I knew what I was buying and I got what I paisd for. The creditcard co. reinstated my charge and told me I got what I ordered. This was a complete lie. I had to open the dispute again and show the creditcard co. that my invoice did not state that it was refurbished. It took me three disputes and lots of mailing copies of invoices and other paperwork befor I got the decision in my favor.

Avoid this company! They are completly dishonest! They will lie to your creditcard company and to you too. Find another company to buy your electronics from. I just wish i had read the reviews i'm reading now about this company befor I ordered the TV. Be smart, Avoid them!
