Prime One Financial recieved phone call for $1000.00 credit card Wanted my banking info to draft 187.00 Recieved call from Alex Santana New York New York

Today, 10/14/2003, I recieved a call from Mr. Alex Santana. He identified hiself from Prime One financial. His phone number and extension is 415-542-1611 X 220.

He said in 10 days I would recieve an unsecured mastercard in the amount of $1000.00 with a intrest rate of 9.9%. all I had to do was give him my address and bank account number. I refused to give him my banking information. I told him I would only give him that information when I recieved the card & reviewed the terms.

He said there would be a one time fee of $187.00 that would be drafted from my checking account. He said when the card arrived I would be able to get the $187.00 off the mastercard to deposit the money in my checking account to cover the $187.00. He also said after I made 6 payments on time my credit limit would automatically be extended to $5000.00.

Upon discussing this with my husband we decided to research Prime One Financial and found the rip off letters. tomorrow morning I will be reporting them to the BBB. I will also be contacting the local authorities.
