Attorney(s)/Clerical Staff Involved: David Tellman, Deputy District Attorney.
It is alleged that David Tellman intentionally and maliciously violated the civil rights and constitutional rights of a Roseville California man who he personally prosecuted in Placer County.
In addition David Tellman allegedly violated the ethics standards set forth by the California State Bar Association.
In addition it is alleged that Dave Tellman unlawfully, maliciously and intentionally abused his power by willfully, maliciously, and intentionally persuading, ignoring and allowing false testimony, perjury, falsified police reports, probation reports and other records to be entered into court proceedings to gain a conviction in the case.
In addition it is alleged that Dave Tellman intentionally and maliciously caused the man to be held in custody at the Placer County Jail in Auburn, California, for nearly three years as an alleged means to torture, harass, intimidate and pressure the man to accept a conviction plea bargain of an estimated six years vs. maximum sentences on numerous felony charges that would have incarcerated him for most of the remainder of his adult life.
The family of the man in this case is proceeding with intent to file action against Dave Tellman and other persons in the Placer County Judicial System, in Federal Court as well as seek foram investigations.
