Stay as far away from Crystal Court, Mark I, and Country Club Towers as you can.  While living there for a year and a half, the "Corporate Office" of Property Management and Development Corp. broke so many Nevada Revised Statutes on Housing, and lease terms.  They harassed us, discriminated against us, told us not to call the authorities, threatened us, tried to unlawfully remove us from the premises, coerced us, retaliated against us, lied to us, and now they are trying to steal all of our deposits and are telling us we owe them more.  This is after we asked the "Corporate Office" in writing what cleaning they would like us to do to get all of our deposits back from them.  They never contacted us to let us know what to clean, because they never intended to return our deposits.  We wrote them a long letter outlining all of the Nevada Revised Statutes on Housing, and Lease Terms that were broken with us by Property Management and Development Corp.  We are in the process of typing up another letter, of all the Nevada Revised Statutes broken since our last letter to them, to send to the media.

The buildings are so out of date, and need to be inspected by a building inspector.  We had water coming through the ceiling in the kitchen, from a flooded bathtub above us.  We asked the Manager to have someone inspect it for water damage, and mold.  No one ever did.  Please see complaints from others on apartmentratings.com about the mold, and people getting sick.  People are getting stuck in the elevators all the time.  The elevator repair man is called to get them out constantly.  There are bugs.  We went through two washer/dryer units, because they kept breaking down and leaking all over.  We had to get a new refrigerator. The appliances are small and cheap and break down a lot.

We've had enough, and we've done some research.  Not only are there complaints for all 3 properties on ripoffreport.com, but on apartmentratings.com, and these complaints are similar to ours.  If you live in any of these buildings, and you have a pet, Beware!!  From our experience, you won't get your deposits back unless it is hand written on your lease.  Even though it says in the Pet Addendum that Pet Deposits are refundable, they probably put the pet fees, which are not refundable, and the pet deposits together on the same line under "fees - non refundable" on your lease, just like they did with ours.  Check your lease!!  If this is the case, they are going to steal your pet deposits when you move out, just like they did with us!!  If you were told that you would be getting your pet deposits back, and Property Management and Development Corp. refuses to refund your deposits, then you were coerced into signing a lease just like us.  We never would have signed the lease if we had known that our deposits were actually nonrefundable fees.

Our intention is to network with all of the victims who have had similar problems with Property Management and Development Corp. acting illegally.  We will be contacting the media, as a means to find others like ourselves that have been violated.  We feel that if we get enough documented law violations that are similar, (and there is a wide variety of law violations) we will have something to take to the District Attorney.  Property Management and Development Corp. has been victimizing people for a long time.  They are, as another complainant wrote, "seasoned scammers".  We want to stop it.  We want to hear your story.  Please e-mail your detailed story to rentersrightslv@yahoo.com, and/or on ripoffreport.com and apartmentratings.com.

We are also going to be looking for an attorney for a class action lawsuit.  We are all protected under the first amendment, Freedom of Speech.  These are our stories of what happened to us, and everyone has a right to know what they are getting into.  We hope that you won't make the same mistake we did, by getting involved with Crystal Court Apartments, Mark I Apartments, or Country Club Towers.  Thank you in advance for your stories.  We care about, and understand what happened to you, because it most likely happened to us too.
