Not ensuring Proper Medical Care by the ER Doctors ....

I received improper medical care at the Emergency Room - Provena St. Therese Medical Center. Luckly, no permanent injury occurred. I did find out that the Doctor who treated me was not an employee of the Hospital but an employee of an Outsourcing Provider.

I did complain to the provider who discharged the physician's fees from my account. They did not admit to wrong doing but did apologize about the service rendered.

I also wrote to the Medical Center three letters, and contacted their Risk Provention Department without success. I refuse to pay any of the medical bills since the Hospital under the Law of Agency failed (my opinion) to ensure that their outsource provider was delivering proper care to the patients that utilize their Emergency Room.

And further, that under Contract Law that services rendered must be at customary standards of medical care. Since the care that I receive was far below customary standards I contend that a breach of contract exists.

Due to the low amount of the medical charges and that I did not incurred permanent or life threatening injury I have been unable to find an attorney to take this case. Hoping that one of your advocates can help.
