Quick Books ,Merchant Services ,Intuit Payroll every week there is a glitch in their payroll system, from not saving payroll items to not calculating payroll taxes Greenville, Or Tuscon, South Carolina or Arizona

Long story short, if you purchase Intuit for Quickbooks payroll, plan on paying someone double the time you would pay some one to run payroll from another accounting system.

From the day we bought Intuit's Payroll system on April 16, 2008 we have had problems. While we love Quickbooks Contractors Edition for our Accounting needs, the only payroll option is to go with Intuit Payroll. There is a 60 day money back garentee but the major problems didn't begin until after the 60 days and the problems just seem to get worse. When I call support they refuse to help. When I go online and ask for a tech to call me back they don't call back.

Here are some of the problems we have incurred: First we started out with minor problems like we set up all of our employees in the employee setup menu which took about 15 minutes per employee, when I went to run payroll most of the items in the payroll setup menu had disappeared or were deleted somehow I'm not sure, but I'm the only one who uses the intuit software in our small construction company, so the problem is not on our end and for some employees intuit couldn't even save their rates. When I contacted support they couldn't give me a solution. Then our payroll checks net pay were changing, if I edited the employee in any way the net pay would change on a check that was previously printed. When I went to file the state and federal taxes the amount were wrong and we were penalized for reporting the wrong taxes. When I figured out that the net pay was changing I relized that we had to go back to the 1980's and report all the payroll taxes and fill out the payroll tax reports by hand if we wanted to keep this program. I also called support for this problem and they could not give me an explaination.

Here's one of the biggest problem we have encountered: for the last two weeks Intuit's Payroll System has not been calculating the payroll taxes at all, so I had to first figure out how to calculate state, social security, federal, medicare taxes then I have to entered the taxes into each individual employee paycheck for it to deduct it out of their paycheck. I called Intuit on this issue and they refused to help and when I went online for support they would not call me back. These are just some of the problems we have had with Intuit Payroll. I hope no one else wastes their time buying this horrible program.
