Quintessential Properties Q Properties Apathetic and Greedy Company takes over $25 k in Rent for 2 years, and steals the deposit too? Albuquerque New Mexico

I have rented all across this country, from Nashville to Las Vegas, Nevada. Never have I experienced such apathy and dishonesty with a property management company. After working with this agency for almost 2 years I can tell you that I would certainly NOT recommend them to any prospective renters looking to rent or lease property.

Within our years of renting a Quintessential Property, we discovered that they'll only repair the bare minimum to avoid being sued. They'll NEVER use reputable, qualified, certified technicians. The person who always showed up to do repairs was a cousin or a brother of someone they knew. At times the person completing repairs brought children to our home, on his service call.

We requested the dilapidated fence be repaired, the landlord showed up with a shoelace to secure the gate. We were given verbal authorization to paint the day glow orange bathroom, once we moved out...we were charged hundreds to have the entire house repainted. We were charged $400 for dead grass, when the owners sprinkler system never functioned correctly. After we moved out we spent an entire afternoon cleaning the property to be charged another $150 for cleaning. Unbelievable!

Once we moved out the Management company and the home owner used our deposit to put in an RV parking spot complete with plumbing as well as a brand new fence around the property.

In short, the Quintessential Properties owner/operator runs this business with no compassion for tenants and has definitely written her lease with fine print to make certain you'll pay the maximum amount over time and that you'll receive little to no return on your deposit. In the end you'll be charged hundreds of dollars for frivolous things like light bulbs and dust on a ceiling fan. We know because it happened to us. Now we must rely on litigation, don't take the risk. Trust me, spare yourself the nightmare and locate a reputable, dependable, reliable company. Quintessential Properties is not the answer.
