After seeing a couple warnings about Raise Me Capital I reluctantly signed up for a month of service against my intuition and what a mistake it was. Similar to the accounts of others, I was lured into paying by signing up for their free trial. Within days I got e-mails that there were interested investors who wanted to learn more about our offering and all we had to do was sign up to get access to their information. After receiving several of these e-mails I forked up $145 for a month of full member access.
What I got was the ability to receive and send messages through their system and after responding to several of the so-called investors, thanking them for their interest and asking them how I could get in touch to give them more details, not one of them got back to me. After several more attempts to reach one of the so-called investors who had inquired I got suspicious and attempted to contact Raise Me Capital directly. I left messages on the 800 number on their site and e-mailed through their site hoping for a response.
The only response I got was to find that the next time I attempted to login to my account there was an error message that my account was terminated. No explanation, no refund, just cancelled. After multiple attempts to get a response back from the Raise Me Capital with no reply I contacted my credit card company approximately a month after initially signing up to request a charge back.
The credit card company could not reach Raise Me Capital but instead went back and forth (with me on the line) with the merchant processor EC Suite from Arizona who I believe is also in on the scam. They are who appeared on my credit card statement yet they claim to have no liability. The fine print of the terms and conditions on the RaiseMeCapital website states that they can terminate your account at any time for any reason with no liability and so far my credit card company is ok with this lame excuse despite the company advertising a service and not providing it.
Don't lose your money and test it like I did. Stay away from Raise Me Capital and their scam and don't let them lure you in with fake investors interested in your deal. They do not exist and are complete fabrications of the company. Avoid EC Suite and anyone they do business with as they are perpetuating the scam by knowing processing money for these scammers without doing their diligence on whether a legitimate service is being provided.
